Walking to School
PSA on Chickens
During the class of Video Production, the learning objectives is to make videos and then editing them. this is valuable to my future because I want to be a film director and this is good practice for that. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Video Production had the following learning objectives to make a PSA video and adding key frames to it. These link back to the course learning objectives by giving me practice about filming videos and editing.
The project was about chickens and why a free range practices is better than others. We made it in a style of news and I filmed it with my friend. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with making a script about what we were going to say then, we filmed it and it took a couple of days and we filmed it in front of a green screen. When we edited the video we added pictures and we made key frames for those pictures. We then did a critic and we were told many things that we could fix so we went back and fixed them. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in memorizing my lines for the filming and editing is hard. These link back to the course goals by helping me get better at editing green screen. This tells me that I have learned a new technique about film making which is green screen and key frames.
Applying technological skills for the 21st century and Thinking critically and creatively. I used technology skills from the editing green screen and the key frames. I used Thinking critically and creatively because the project was just to put pictures and text but my friend and I went a different route and made a news video about the subject.
Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year is how to film with a camera and edit in a program called Premiere Pro. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future when I make movies and this gives me practice from filming and editing.
